The health you take out of the boss depends on the speed you fall on him I think.
But I don't think this was delivered well.
Overal the game is nice enough.
I did not completed it.

Everything is same, you only replaced the players image and music.
I think this should be banned if this a hack.

I like the graphics. So nice. Artist did a really good job.
Everything else seems also in place.

Gets boring very quick.
The begining is terrible.
Make a jumping meter like in Burito Bison

What I did not liked is that if I miss the orbs then later I will not be enough to buy upgrades.
And there is no way to replay earlier levels.
So I got to some point I can't beat the game.

I haven't played this much, because I m not a fan of Ninja Gaiden and modern 8-bit.
Seems like it plays nice.

What I disliked a lot is how the guy clings the walls and it not let me to have a full jump height.
Good level design and style.
