From 0:52, that drums start and they not solid with the song. They take over too much and too bright over all.

zybor responds:

Thanks for the review.

It's good.

djeastwolf responds:

Thanks

hm... Not sure what exactly, but something is wrong here. Maybe volume levels, maybe octaves, maybe some notes. Just something needs to be fixed

EHei9229 responds:

Thanks! I'm just trying new things, do I appreciate the feedback!

Wow, the first remix on my song ever! :)
That's epic!

djpirx responds:

it was fun to make - great song for inspiration - thanks for Vocal Audio and lead MIDI man ... We are gonna meet on the Exoplanet Of The Sound ;)

OK, very nice powerful bright sound. But, I don't know why the notes feel in dissonance to each other. Maybe piano has too long decay somewhere, I don't know. Maybe the notes are just not well thought. But those wrong notes feeling ruins song for me :(
I'd give 4.5 if not that

is it a troll jazz?

Straginski responds:

This is an art performance

However. Kick has no attack :(
So it doesn't feels like a kick. Just a bass.

Alyctro responds:

That's the way i like it

I haven't heard 'Excision - Subsonic', but there is room for improvement for sure

Right from the beginning it feels that lack of side chain pump used everywhere today. It has to be on pads at least. But I think it should be on some other stuff too.
[EDIT] - I have no idea. It's just missing that pump for me. It is used in synthwave as heavily as in EDM so it immediately felt like song lacks that feature.

TeraVex responds:

Hi! Thanks for the feedback! Would there be anything specifically you would put it on other than the pads? It didn't even occur to me to sidechain them! It'd probably fix some of the mixing qualms I've had with this!
EDIT: Gotcha, thanks for the feedback regardless!

It's like nice, but I don't know what else am I missing. And it feels a bit overpressured or something. I don't know what exactly but it's like hissing too much maybe.
[EDIT] - I want to bring you some bad news then. Soundgoodizer, Maximus, OTT, and other multibands are very dangerous things for sound quality. They can cause bad phase issues on the sound. Try research this topic. Sometimes they work great, but sometimes they add something bad to the sound because of phase issues.

Barito911 responds:

that might be because i always put a soundgoodizer on the lead xD, i always think it glues it together more but it does cause the hissing thing youre talking about. i probably wont do it on my next production, thanks for the feedback :)
