Melody is nice. But don't be so over loud.

On 0:45 those long notes with steady sustain. Maybe need to make sustain fade down, or volume LFO or something.

I am not sure if ears not trciking me but I think kick is out of tune here. But maybe I just hear wrong. Another bad thing is that track is overdistorted.
But the melody in main drop is nice.
P.S.
Maybe you aim for too loud? Try match with someone like David Guetta. No need to make louder or brighter than them.

Vortonox responds:

Yes I agree that it's over-distorted
thx for your feedback tho

I am not sure it is so well-made production. It feels like the work of compression is quite audible. Or maybe a limiter. When music is dense it feels like there is work of compressor quite audible. And it's probably a triggering by bass range? Not sure. And another moment. It's a bit too dense in volume. For example around 4:15 before the beat starts. It doesn't have a bit of difference in the volume when beat starts. I think this needs to be fixed. Should be some difference. Because at this moment it has too steady volume level. And this lose a bit of something.
Sorry I am not focused on good things, but only what I would critic.

Thank you for your productive review. Noted. :)

Daft Punk is what came in mind before I started read description. Is the voice vocoded or it's something synthesized with what?
P.S.
At first I gave 4. But in the end I thought the nice melody deserves a bit more.

Drewpy responds:

Thank you! Yes, the vocals are vocoded to a super compressed and distorted saw wave using iZotope's VocalSynth 2

Cool. But this too loud sound is a bit something I don't like. But maybe it's still necessary in genre like this.

So this is not finished? Make heavy side chain on pads.

The melody itself is really nice. The production is a bit too lazy. For example your hats are just the same sample just playing with same volume level. That sounds robotic.

I don't know. It's actually more nice in parts between main beat. It needs sidechain for background pads and vocals. And also it's just too repetitive. It's like has no difference between beat parts and soft parts.
[Edit] - side chain can mean anything of course. But I meant the thing that usually done in dance music. When the kick hits then some other stuff lowered in volume. But in your case you don't have 4x4 kick. So it's hard to say which pattern of ducking the pads/choir could be best. It might work with ducking on kick and snare or it might work some other pattern. It can add much more "life" to the song.

RyeGuyHead responds:

A review!

Yes the chord pattern is the same throughout, definitely adds to the repetition...

Confused by the side chain comment though, are the pads and choir drowning everything else out?

[Edit]: Word! I looked up a little side-chain tutorial for reason afterwards...good stuff. Thanks for clarifying too.

I can probably configure some kick / tom pulsation to take out the drone :D

It's pretty OK. I am not a fan when the chorus and verse has no much difference. I like when chorus feels more separated from verse. Maybe extra background voices could help this.
P.S.
BTW I don't mean background voices as harmonics. Another voice with alternate melody that would sing after the main voice. It's like echo but with different melody.

mseemercury responds:

There is a clear huge difference with chorus and verse. Thanks for feedback though, I know what you mean but that doesn’t differentiate whether it’s a hook or not, usually that is done on bridges or the very last hook. You do not want too much going on. Clearly this is not your genre of music and it wouldn’t appeal to you. This isn’t dubstep or edm. Again thanks for you input
